Live, the Surrey based conveyancing business has announced a record start to 2005. January was the best month in the company's history for new business volumes, despite widespread media coverage of the struggling property market.

Robert Sendall, the founder of the business explains: "When the going gets tough for estate agents, Live really starts to become more important to their businesses. When an agent needs to concentrate on every deal reaching completion as efficiently and as quickly as possible, Live can really make a difference."

Since the start of the year, Live has been busy recruiting new staff for their Sales Centre with a new team of staff to handle the increased number of inbound calls. At a recent open evening over 20 potential candidates were met by Live managers Christopher Poulton and David Hunt who fielded questions from the applicants who were interested in a career in legal sales.

As well as the investment in the sales department, Live is committed to growing the operations division of the business. Both the Agent Support team and the Network Development Team are currently expanding to ensure the needs of over 11,000 clients are met. Live is also investing heavily IT systems to ensure that the company meets the challenge presented by rapid growth, particularly with the onset of HIP (Home Information Pack) launch in 2007. Live now employ 9 staff in their IT department and plan to recruit more in 2005.
