One of the largest providers of legal services to homemovers has moved to Camberley from Bracknell. The company, Live, has taken over Academy house on London Road, former home to software giant, LogicaCMG. Live employs around 60 staff, many of whom are involved in marketing legal services to people moving home. The Live service is introduced to home buyers when they make an offer on a new house or to sellers when an offer is accepted. The company has been trading since 1996 when it was one of the first to offer internet progress reports to clients and a 'no move no fee' pledge to its clients.

Live's Group Commercial Director, Matthew Birks commented "We are delighted with our move to Camberley. Many of our staff already live in the area which is why Camberley was the natural choice for Live's permanent home. Transport links are excellent and the town centre is on our doorstep which is great for our staff." Live are rapidly expanding to meet the demand for more customer focused legal services in the property sector. HR Manager for Live, Maurene Collier has been brought in to manage Live's recruitment needs and ensure that the 8000 square feet of office space is filled. "We intend to hire more staff in 2005 than in any other year in Live's history. We use psychometrics to help decide which candidates are suited to a career with Live and the results are often surprising." Maurene continues, "Many candidates pigeon-hole themselves as either sales people or administrators. Often this is based on assumptions and bad careers advice. We find that using our profiling techniques, we can spot potential in people with little or no experience".
